Rachel Hirst is a local Canadian singer/songwriter based in Tofino. Her music fuses genres of folk, soul, and pop and reflects her west coast surroundings and bright soul. Rachel embeds inspiration from Etta James, Amy Winehouse, and Billy Joel, whose music rang through her childhood home, in her poetic writing and dreamlike vocal layers.
